Our commitment
Panache & Company is committed to providing a website that is accessible and usable for as many people as possible. We want guests, prospective team members, and community members to be able to learn about Panache & Company with ease, including people who use assistive technologies.
Accessibility standards
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG, version 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we will continue improving the site as our business grows and as issues are found.
What we have done
- Used semantic HTML landmarks and a logical heading structure.
- Included a "skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
- Provided visible focus styles for interactive elements.
- Added alternative text for meaningful images and left decorative images empty where appropriate.
- Used responsive layouts that reflow across desktop and mobile screen sizes.
- Selected color combinations intended to support readable contrast.
- Respected the operating system "reduce motion" setting.
- Used descriptive link text for key actions.
Third-party services
Some linked services are operated by third parties, including Google Forms, social media platforms, partner websites, and podcast platforms. We cannot control the accessibility of those external services, but we try to choose practical, widely used tools and provide clear links to them.
Salon accessibility
Panache & Company is preparing to open in Williamsburg, Virginia. If you have accessibility questions about visiting the salon, appointments, accommodations, or the future location, please contact us before your visit so we can help.
Requests, issues, and suggestions
If you run into an accessibility problem on this site, or you need help using it, please tell us. We want to hear about it and we will do our best to fix it.
